SEMINAR
“Conditions for the slauhgterhouses: cutting, plants, meat processing plants and cold storage which have to be fulfilled according to EU directives”
Seminar and workshop for inspectors of the district veterinary office was held in Podgorica from the July, 20th.2009 until July, 24th.2009. The aim of the Seminar and workshop were the presentation the conditions of European Union Directives for production of fresh meat and meat products (general conditions for approval of slaughterhouses, cutting plants, meat processing plants, cold storage, performing operations on slaughter line and post mortem inspection). Seminar consisted of theoretical and practical part. Practical part was performed in plant for intestine processing, slaughterhouses and meat processing plants. The aim was to show the requirements for export to the EU market on the spot.

Seminar was organized by the German firm GTZ (German Development Corporation) which have engaged Institute of Meat Hygiene and Technology for the professional and practical part of the Seminar.
